Shenzhen Engine AI Robotcs Technology Co., Ltd., a Chinese startup specializing in embodied intelligence and humanoid robots, announced on Monday that it has successfully completed its A1+ and A2 funding rounds, without revealing the exact amount of the funding.

The A2 round was led by Huangpujiang Capital in partnership with Henan Investment Group’s Huirong Fund and Tsinghua Holding Capital. The T800, officially released on December 2, starts at 180,000 yuan. The 1.73-meter tall, 75-kilogram robot features Engine AI’s fully in-house developed integrated high-torque joint modules, micro-joint electromechanical technology, 360° omnidirectional LiDAR perception, multi-dimensional dexterous hands, and high-performance solid-state power batteries designed specifically for humanoid robots. These technologies enable peak torque, stable long-duration operation, and precise humanoid hand manipulation.

The T800 is available in four configurations—Basic, Open-Source, Pro, and Max—to suit applications in scientific research, patrol and inspection, commercial services, cultural and tourism entertainment, logistics, and industrial collaboration, supporting the company’s strategy for commercial deployment of full-size humanoid robots.

To support mass production, EngineAI has established a manufacturing line in Honghualing Industrial Zone of China's tech hub Shenzhen and plans to build a global manufacturing center in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province in central China. These facilities will support large-scale delivery of the PM01, T800, and other models.
