AsianFin -- China will allow visa-free entry for Russian citizens holding ordinary passports starting Sept. 15, 2025, the Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
The one-year trial program, which runs until Sept. 14, 2026, permits Russians to enter China without a visa for up to 30 days for purposes including business, tourism, family visits, cultural exchanges and transit.
“We welcome more Russian friends to come to China more often,” ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said.
