AsianFin– xAI, a company founded by Elon Musk, has announced a speed upgrade for its Grok-2-mini model. "Over the past few days, we have significantly improved the inference stack," said the company.
Earlier this month, xAI officially released an early preview of its Grok-2 language model. The Grok-2 series, which includes both the standard Grok-2 and the lighter Grok-2-mini versions, is designed for various tasks such as chatting, coding, and reasoning. Currently, these models are being tested on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter) and are expected to be made available later this month through the company’s enterprise API.
