This laboratory, which began operations in 2024, is strategically located near Apple’s significant production and assembly base in the country, allowing for close collaboration with nearly 200 supplier partners in the vicinity.
The turnaround time for samples between the suppliers and the Shenzhen Application Research Laboratory can be as quick as one day. It is reported that Apple executives will also visit several supply chain manufacturers located in Shenzhen.
