BYD Set to Announce Plans for a Factory in Mexico Soon

AsianFin – BYD is reportedly preparing to announce plans for a manufacturing facility in Mexico in the near future. Jorge Vallejo, BYD Mexico’s General Manager, revealed this during an event showcasing the Seal 7 model.

Vallejo stated that BYD achieved sales of 40,000 electric and hybrid vehicles in Mexico by the end of 2024. The company aims to double this figure to 80,000 units by 2025, supported by the addition of 30 new dealerships. As of the end of 2024, BYD had already established 50 dealerships across the country.
