AsianFin -- Denmark acknowledges the United States' security concerns in the Arctic and is prepared to engage in discussions with President-elect Donald Trump's incoming administration, according to Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen on Monday.

"We recognize that the U.S. has valid security interests in the Arctic, which align with our own concerns. In close collaboration with Greenland, we are ready to continue talks with the incoming U.S. president to ensure that these legitimate American interests are addressed," Rasmussen stated during a press conference in Jerusalem.
