The market should therefore be watched through three signals, not one headline index. Earnings and guidance will show whether spending creates supplier economics. Credit and prime-broker conditions will show whether leverage is amplifying price moves. Cross-sectional performance will show whether AI leadership broadens into profitable adopters or remains concentrated in the same infrastructure basket.

The next decisive evidence will come from reported capital spending, supplier margins and the ability of managers to hold positions through volatility without forced sales. A July-style reversal is cyclical until the financing system makes it structural.
