AsianFin -- China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Tuesday that China welcomed Indonesia as a new state member of BRICS during a press conference.
Brazil announced on Monday that Indonesia has become a full member of the oraganization. On January 1, Kazakhstan, Maylasia, Cuba and Bolivia became the new members of BRICS.
Guo said that China is willing to work with other BRICS members to build a multi-polar world, inclusive economic globalization and a community with a shared future.
