NextFin News — JD Logistics and Fast Retailing Group reached a strategic cooperation agreement, the logistics operator said on Monday.
The partners will jointly build a global logistics supply-chain network and raise levels of automation, digitalization and sustainability across operations. JD Logistics will develop an overseas delivery service system for Fast Retailing’s brands, including Uniqlo, to support cost reduction and efficiency gains in the group’s e-commerce logistics.
The arrangement extends JD Logistics’ international capabilities to one of the world’s largest apparel retailers as Fast Retailing expands online sales outside its core markets. It follows earlier commercial ties between the two sides in China and aligns with JD Logistics’ push to serve more global fashion and consumer brands through its overseas warehouse and last-mile network.
