AsianFin -- American entrepreneur Elon Musk declared that Mars would be "part of the United States" on Sunday.
“America is like a big ship—people must work together and not abandon it,” Musk stated, reaffirming his commitment to the country by saying, “I will die in America, nowhere else.” He then jokingly added that he "might go to Mars, but that will also be part of the United States."
Musk had previously shared on social media that SpaceX’s next-generation heavy-lift rocket, Starship, is expected to land Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus, on Mars by the end of 2026. He suggested that if the mission succeeds, a crewed Mars landing could take place as early as 2029, though 2031 is more likely.
