AsianFin -- Pan Jian, Co-Chairman of CATL, revealed that the company is set to announce additional joint venture (JV) battery factory projects in Europe this year.
In December 2024, CATL had announced a JV battery production plant in Spain with Stellantis. Pan also shared that the company is in discussions with other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in Europe for new JV projects. Including the Spanish JV, CATL has now established three battery factories in Europe.
