The Mawan Undersea Tunnel connects Qianhai with the Dachanwan Port area, starting from Moon Bay Avenue, crossing the Qianhai Bay to the north, and ending at Xixiang Avenue, with a total length of approximately 8.05 kilometers. The Mawan Undersea Tunnel consists of two cross-sea shield tunnels, with a maximum excavation diameter of 15.5 meters, making it the largest diameter undersea shield tunnel in China to date.
