AsianFin -- The African Energy Chamber (AEC) has officially launched an international office in Shanghai, China, marking a significant step to bolster collaboration between African governments, energy companies, and Chinese counterparts.
The Shanghai office will be led by Bieni Da, AEC’s chief representative in China, who will oversee efforts to connect Chinese businesses and government entities with African stakeholders, according to a statement released by the chamber on Thursday.
“The objective is clear: to drive impactful, long-term collaboration across strategic sectors of the economy, enabling investments that are mutually beneficial and aligned with both continents’ development goals,” the AEC said.
