The collaboration will leverage the intelligent architecture and hardware platform of BMW’s new-generation China-made models to co-develop AI foundation model–based driver assistance software. The system will be continuously optimized and validated through real-world testing, focusing on China’s unique road conditions and user behaviors.
Designed to meet local mobility demands, the solution aims to deliver a seamless urban-to-highway driving experience—from parking departure at the origin to parking arrival at the destination. It will be rolled out across several models, including BMW’s locally produced next-gen lineup, covering multiple market segments.
