AsianFin -- OpenAI CEO Sam Altman expressed optimism that artificial intelligence is rapidly evolving to not only assist but also “discover new knowledge.” Speaking at the Snowflake Summit 2025 on Monday, Altman noted that AI agents are already starting to function similarly to junior-level employees in the workplace.
“You hear people that talk about their job now is to assign work to a bunch of agents, look at the quality, figure out how it fits together, give feedback, and it sounds a lot like how they work with a team of still relatively junior employees,” Altman said during a conversation with Snowflake Computing CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy.
