AsianFin — The Trump administration is reportedly planning to cut all remaining ties with Harvard University, according to a senior U.S. government official cited on Monday.
The White House is expected to direct all federal agencies to explore ways to terminate contracts with the university effective immediately.
The U.S. General Services Administration is set to send a letter to federal departments instructing them to identify any existing contracts with Harvard and assess whether those agreements can be canceled or reassigned elsewhere, the official said.
This move comes after former President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social on May 26 that he is considering pulling $3 billion in federal funding from Harvard and reallocating it to vocational schools.
